Noncommunicable Diseases (NCD) is a group of diseases consisting of the four – Diabetes, Cancer, Heart and Lung Diseases, sharing the common risk factors of Unhealthy Diet, Physical Inactivity, Tobacco use and Harmful use of alcohol. Fundamentally the world is facing this group of diseases that are cumbersome in burden, chronic in nature, a population that is complacent about it, and solutions that are complex to implement with impacts that are catastrophic if not addressed early enough and resulting in a crisis for every country. As a result, people are crying, children are dying, workers are tired, the population has a lassie fare attitude and little investment from funders. To address this the UN has orchestrated a 33 x 30 promise of reducing premature mortality by 33% by 2030. By delivering on this there is the promise to alleviate suffering, bring comfort, honor potential, and save lives!
